Parents

A Poem by Sam
"

A poem about when my parents were still married

"
This used to be a home once
But now mom and dad love to shout really loud
Slam every door in the house
Throw pots and pans at one another’s face
All while tears roll down my face

Gee
Good morning. Having been raised in a twice broken home situated in a very dysfunctional street, mainly one parent families with many kids with different dads, I fully understand this write. Was good to leave home and create the opposite of my own upbringing for my daughter, and strangely I think I am a better father for not having one in my life, it has led me to be the father to my daughter that I would have wished for myself!
