YouA Poem by SamA fictional poem about your lover dying
Tear me apart limb by limb
Darling I will always love you You’ve stopped replying to my texts and calls Your name forever on my mind Forever on your mother and father’s mind I still listen to your voice Your voice on your voicemail Asking for my name and number Saying you will call me back You never call me back anymore You never contact me anymore I still have your favorite hoodie I keep it on your side of the bed It still smells just like you You no longer sleep in my bed The only sign of you on my bed is your hoodie Your favorite hoodie that you loved so much I am dreading the day it will no longer smell like you It’s 4 AM and I miss you I often wonder where you are Did you find peace? Is there nothing but darkness where you are? Are you in heaven like you believed you’d go? I will never know I must wait my turn Wait for death to come knocking at my door And now I hear knocking on my door © 2021 SamReviews
