'run my friend'

'run my friend'

A Poem by Yanina McKnight

no-where leads to eternity, but go on
run my friend

yet the journey awaits for a precious traveler
run my friend

the time has been granted, so hurry
run my friend

to other side and back again
run my friend

soon the collision awaits
no more running my friend

no more running, a moment to submit to no-where.
So many journey's and travels I have been on that have left me as a whole so restless.
I also see death when I read this over.

That opening line is really good and original, " no-where leads to eternity, but go on." Interesting piece You have penned Yanina. The ending wraps the entire poem up with what will happen... the collision. Well done.

You can run but only for so long before you hit things head on. Sometimes the best thing to do is just face whatever it is and not tire running away :) Nice write :D
