our steps

our steps

A Poem by Yanina McKnight

Perception perceives more than what we choose to admire. The beauty of nothing is brought on by admiration. Consumers consume the consummation of others. We are the others, perceiving admiration through consummation of nothing. So beautiful, yet so fragile, walking along the cracks and leaks of our bones. We feel everything, but see nothing. Our paths are clear lead on by our cluttered minds.

Thank you Ashwin for your words
"We feel everything, but see nothing. Our paths are clear lead on by our cluttered minds."
The above word are very true. Old dream of utopia cannot never happen. People fear new things and the unknown. Fake clutter blind people from seeking true self and place. Few people seek their own ways and thoughts. This is sad. Very good poetry. Made me think tonight.
