Misfit, Outcast: Over and Out

Misfit, Outcast: Over and Out

A Poem by Doctor Deathstab

Forgive me for being jaded.

Love me though I am calloused.

When memories and feelings are faded

You’ll still have my loyalty.

Experience has dulled my emotions.

Enlightenment hasn’t been good to me.

But you have my undying devotion

Even when all is dead to me.

The world is a desolate place,

But I hold hands with your shadow.

I see the love in your face,

Yet I’m still all alone.

You walk beside me with a steady tread,

But your footprints are hollow.

Sometimes you feel so alive to me,

But you live in a world I’ve never known.

Forgive me for being evil.

Sometime I slave for insanity.

I’ll never be like other people,

But I’ll show you consistency.

All I want to do is get away

And leave behind every single thing.

All I wish for is my dying day;

Escape from bullshit complexity.

The world is a desolate place,

But I hold hands with your shadow.

I see the love in your face,

Yet I’m still all alone.

You walk beside me with a steady tread,

But your footprints are hollow.

Sometimes you feel so alive to me,

But you live in a world I’ve never known.

About
I am a new breed of poet. I write what I feel and don't give a damn what others think. I am vulgar at times, but my thinking ability goes deeper than obscenities. (Did I spell that right?) So read bet.. more..
