Love is not My God

Love is not My God

A Poem by Doctor Deathstab

Love is not so pure. Love is not the cure.

I will take my drugs if I must endure.

She would not save me even if she cared.

Life is killing me, and I will not be spared.

Love is not my god. Love is not my friend.

I do not feel love, nor do I pretend.

You can’t have my love though you have my lust.

There’s neither loyalty nor a sense of trust.

You can warm my bed but can’t thaw my heart.

If you try that s**t I’ll saw you apart.

I like how your work seems so pretty at times flowing with beauty then bam you are going to saw someone apart. Great piece. So heartfelt.

Brutal but perfect in that brutality. Many feel and live this way. Kudos.

About
I am a new breed of poet. I write what I feel and don't give a damn what others think. I am vulgar at times, but my thinking ability goes deeper than obscenities. (Did I spell that right?) So read bet.. more..
