Stalking with Good Intent

Stalking with Good Intent

A Poem by Doctor Deathstab

You are my lullaby to die to; my cryptic cradle dirge.

You’re my semi-psycho impulse; the addiction I must curb.

One too many people think that I’m disturbed.

Your name inspires so much stalking that I use it like a verb.

Although I may seem scary, you’ll never come to harm.

The items that I took I treat like lucky charms.

The pictures that I’ve taken give me pleasure during pain.

Unlike your failed relations, my feelings will remain.

I’m sorry if I scare you. I’ll try to stay aloof.

I only seek to guard you while leaving little proof.

Obsession is the wrong word when describing what I do.

I’m intent on ensuring nothing happens to you.

I like this, it's very well written. The subject matter is quite interesting as well, creating an unusual balance between the distrubed and nurturing. It's very unique.

Stalking is a bit creepy but the last line makes it a sweet action instead of weird....

I am a new breed of poet. I write what I feel and don't give a damn what others think. I am vulgar at times, but my thinking ability goes deeper than obscenities. (Did I spell that right?) So read bet.. more..
