I'm Awake

I'm Awake

A Poem by Doctor Deathstab

I can’t separate the impenetrable feeling from myself.

It seems to inflate to a size that overwhelms.

If you knew me before, then surely I’m a stranger now.

The whole world is strange, and cloud nine is not my cloud.

I can’t bear the sight of the simple life you have.

Instead I run through the night and wish absence of life would take me back.
