Detachment from the World

Detachment from the World

A Poem by Doctor Deathstab

I can’t seem to cope

I can’t seem to bond

Stimulation abounds

But I can’t respond

Everything’s too familiar;

Day to day deja vu

I’ve been here before

And know all the cues…

Know all the clues…

Felt the abuse

I can’t seem to feel

This infected wound

Numb to the bone

And cold like a tomb

Nothing’s precious to

Me to any degree

I’m enslaved to the cold

With no chance to be free

About
I am a new breed of poet. I write what I feel and don't give a damn what others think. I am vulgar at times, but my thinking ability goes deeper than obscenities. (Did I spell that right?) So read bet.. more..
