We all do the best we can
And must remember to see love
For what it is -
The result of a chance meeting

You are with one person
But for a whole
You eat together
Talk together
Live together
Travel and see the world
Then - it ends

But sometimes
The love we have
For someone else is
Like a terminal illness - critical
And we never recover
That is the
Greatest love of all
