One

One

A Poem by Child0fBalance
"

Another forced poem, but this one I'm pretty happy with. I think it's pretty accurate as to the state of my mind at the moment.

"

The cold, dark

abyss

of my

mind, so

silent it’s

deafening.

The voice of

half-empty

evicted by

dissociation.

The screaming,

searing ache of

this body-

devoid of contact,

the forsaken nerves

silenced by

desolation.

Half-full is the

ideal illusion.

Touch, that

dreadful memory

only hope can

fictitiously

promise.

Solitude

the reality

and only

certainty.

This is a good piece. I really like the way you've broken it up. It makes the piece really embody what you're saying in the words.
Nice flow. Of course the grammar is perfect :-) Well done. On to read more!
