Lacrimose Melody

Lacrimose Melody

A Poem by Child0fBalance
"

Once again trying to put feelings into words...I'm happy with parts of it, but not others. Trying to get myself to write *something*.

"

Sobs give way to

scars.

Wounds become

locks

on internal doors.

Pillows fill the

void

you left in

forsaken sheets.

Hope

is the

mortar

of this

piecemeal heart.

Independence the

façade.

The reality?

Lost.

Pillows fill the

you left in
forsaken sheets.

Absolutely love that line, just ... love it.

God don't I know how that feels.
This poem makes me think too much and hurt. Nice write. I wish we could both have the men we're still in 'like' with. (can't say love, cause we're a little obsessed)
:-/ *hugs* always.
