Getting old

Getting old

A Poem by drave

There comes a time when you have to sit up and realize that you are too old to offer to listen to a teenagers problems,
Unless you are a social worker or a priest or a close family friend.
I have finally had those most horrible of thoughts for a man passing 30....
"Oh s**t..I'M the creepy one"
and
"I can't go to jail for just trying to be nice can I?"
and
"Damn..I'm glad I didn't offer her any candy."

I'm officially old now.
