. wavering of patriotism

. The rats go past me as I go through the dark drainage pipes of Denver Colorado. I hear the cries of count less civilians, the cries that have started 3 years ago after the fall of the of the military. The package that I will to resistance cell 23, will hopefully turn these cries into yells of vengeance.
. Above me I hear the clicks of ACA radios, there shouting about something but I couldn't hear what it was. Then see two pairs of knees slam onto the rusty metal grate above me, I stop so I am not detected. I hear in poor English an officer of the ACA say " acts of treason, will not go unpunished" he then throws a old black revolver before the crowd in front of them. He continues " for theft of this gun these two persons will go through decimation" he then tosses two rocks at the prisoners. The both pickup there rock look at each, then look at the officer then one of them said "no". The looks at them and then waves his hand, out of the crowd two ACA soldiers bring out a child and a middle aged women. The officer says " do it or will kill your family members" then one of the prisoners takes his rock and brings down upon the others head. He keeps hitting until the last prisoner head is a bloody mass of flesh. The middle aged woman cries out in grief but the yells in happiness. I then start crawling forward into the pipe until behind me I hear a single gun shoot, after that I hear the same boy yelling at his dad to wake up.

. After 15 minutes of crawling a reach a sewer grate, I knock two times fast three times slow and then three times fast. The gate is rolled open and then the light above me blinds my eyes. I hear a voice that says " Joseph welcome to the Colorado resistance cell".
