"Scratch the Surface"

"Scratch the Surface"

A Poem by what-the-frick

Scratch the surface,

And underneath,

Harvests lies, venom, and true colors.

Your true color is black,

Like the death you bestow,

The hearts you break,

All the secrets you keep, and the secrets you leak.

In the name of love,

Your version of friendship,

It's all one-sided.

Scratch the surface,

And it goes from you and me,

To you.
