"Raw.Truth."

"Raw.Truth."

A Poem by what-the-frick

Your pain slices through

It’s as raw as the lies

That spew out of your mouth

And fall into the tides

I don’t feel remorse

Because all that you do

Is cause guilt and vexation

Claim your life’s misconstrued

It’s lovely, this fault

And it leaves naught to blame

Til disdain and dismay

Know the sound of your name

Lost in the maze that is truth

It will follow you home

Then you turn to retrieve it,

And you’re walking alone.

Very poetic truth spoken here, exceptional writing :)

This is really beautiful. You have managed to capture both a primeval terror and a certain savage beauty between the lines. Well done!
