Liar Liar

Liar Liar

A Poem by what-the-frick

You kidnapped my love,

Held my soul hostage

Twisted my emotions so,

Perception was reborn

With your name.

My heart wept silently

Hope weaving between

Your words, your eyes

Until all I inhaled to sustain me...

Was you.

Now I stand wedged between

Who you were,

And who you are,

As your promises

Fray more everyday.

It's never easy seeing someone for who they truly are...
