"A Thousand Reasons"

"A Thousand Reasons"

A Poem by what-the-frick

It could be for a thousand reasons,

Or just one.

The way you look at me,

Like there’s never been anything,

So delicate, breath-taking,

I couldn’t quit you if I tried.

It could be for a thousand reasons,

Or just one.

The way your lips linger mine,

So dangerous, so enticing,

Like you crave to taste deeper.

It could be for a thousand reasons,

Or just one.

The way you believe,

That I could be,

This singular, amazing person,

With nothing backing me.

But inspiration.

And you.

It could be for a thousand reasons,

Or just one.

The reason …

I love you.
