Prisoner of A Room with no Windows.

Prisoner of A Room with no Windows.

A Poem by Satellite Heart

You Secrets Spread like weeds
Screamed from the roof tops
A Broken Record
Her Nagging Voice collides with the concrete walls
Laughter Suffocates you
Dry Humor itches your throat
Breathing is Heavy
Your a Prisoner of a room with no windows
For once in your life
You can't run
Bandaids don't work anymore
Too Young to Drive
It's too Far to Walk
There is only one thing to do
Slump down in your seat
Pretend not to hear them
And Pray for Windows.

Holy s**t... this is sooo painfully beautiful. i dont know if you ever read my poem "my stolen words" but the feelings of this poem totally resembles that... it has the same theme. "the room without exits"... a room you have to bare with.

very nicely written, i simply loved this and will add it to my library.
well done!
