[untitled]A Poem by Satellite HeartI miss the was you smiled when you got embarrased
and look down at your feet with the eyes of a guilty child
I miss the little freckles that traced your cheeks and nose
I miss the way you touched my face
You were so young, but your arms were so strong
I missed that you protected me from our world (Junior High)
I miss you breath and your smile and your toes
I miss your stupid jokes and dumb pervertive glances
I miss your hair and the way you run your fingers through it
I miss your annoying crys for my affection
I miss the way you sat with me at lunch
I miss the way you defended me on the playground
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and I hate the way she smirks at me in the hallway
like your all hers now, like there are no memories
left behind
for me,
She's the ghost of S***s Present
and I'm
The Phantom of the Past
Only Faint memories to attempt, to remember
If she lets you remember
so remember this:
I miss the old you.
