Alive again

Alive again

A Poem by Joshua Wheeler
"

What happens through the night

"

Finally day falls

My mask descends

I am reborn

Through the night, my life begins without ends or dissapointment. The moons' umbrella befriends my every movement and I can walk the waters of the world without making an appointment. During the night I learn and I love. I love to learn and in the night I learned to love. The night guides me through the day, yet when day breaks I walk away. Every single day I walk further from the nights shelter. In the night I satisfy my life. The darkness fills me with the strength of immortality. The moon light repairs me from the days unkindly bloodshed. I stare into the emptiness of the world around me and drop to my knees. I ask for one more night and in return I learn to fight through one more day.

Sun rises

I have no reflection

I am lost
