Secrets on TiptoeA Poem by Diana
I never wanted to have secrets,
but somehow they found me. Creeping in trellis-like fashion up the walls of my brick house. Tainting the facade and effacing the foundation. Experiences drawn like markers in the sand. Separating you and I. As the secrets tiptoe up the brick and mortar pathway, filling in cracks I never knew existed.
