I had a terrible vision of a mum telling a school-aged child that her classmates had all perished and that she had been spared (by sheer twist of fate hadnt gone to school that day) but she would cruelly suffer a living death burdened with guilt for not dying too.
- spooky stuff that whitespace.

I very much appreciate someone who can write a novel in just a few words. You leave a thousand words of context here, forcing the reader to paint on their own.

I love your review. Thank you for sharing.
Reminds me of a terrible hard drive crash
Wife: where did all our pictures go?
Husband: Gone..... they're all gone.

Me: where did all my poetry go?
Wife: Gone..... all gone......

Me: good thing I backed up my poetry on a memory stick.

You are welcome.
Did I miss the bus again? That blank spot looks blanker than the unused spots on my screen. It's all white, bt that spot looked a bit more white as I was reading.

i believe the "they" refers to the speaker's feelings for the other.
