Lol .. this piece makes me chuckle indeed. You just jotted down the gratified feelings of your hearts into the words. Umm .. you can write some more on it if you`d want to .. this could be a sexy piece if you write some more pulling the legs of lovers. Good to read!

Yeah, I see what you're saying. It does have a certain tension.

As long as lovers can be friends, the world will still keep turning.

Sounds about right. Although I think this changes once one comes into adulthood. Nicely penned :)

The approach of the poem could be describing the thoughts of a teenage girl attempts at trying to make acquaintances with the opposite gender.

I guess it varies depending on the reader. :)
Boys tend to congregate as do the girls. There are exceptions of course but not until those hormones course through their systems do they leave the pack and friendship usually isn't what they are looking for.

Bingo. Thank you, icelandicblue.
I don't believe it... Alot of girls and boys are really close friends, maybe closer than girls who are friends with girls or boys with boys. If that makes sense.

It sure is. Thanks again, Trace.
This poem makes me sad. Because all most all of my friends that where girls really weren't friends. I wasn't there friend. I've regretted the way those relationships went about. I only have a few friends that are girls now, but we arn't close really at all.

Good poem, even though I sort of hate it. It just tells me how I've been.

It does have a sad road map feel to it. Glad you could appreciate it.
I read this summation of friendship as in the happiness of friendships, there are sadness. In their ups, there are down, in their so's, there are isn't so's. There has to be that intent of the mutuality and the desire of continuity. An excellent write.

OK. We are friends regardless. Take care...:)............
Easy logically answer to this one. Can be friends if act like friends. Cross a certain line. Need overtakes friendship. I have many woman friends. I know what lines to stay upon. A nice poem. Open the door to many questions. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Yes, they have to both have self-control and want the friendship. Thanks for sharing, Coyote.
