Oh, you said a mouthful here, Diana. It seems some of us do not realize we should treat ourselves as well as we treat our friends. We tend to be our own worst critics. We ARE worthy, but convincing oneself ot that is never easy. I liked this a lot. Lydi**

The first 2 lines are brilliant, I think. The first 2 lines provide the answer to the question that is at the end of this piece. Nice write. Thank you for sharing.

That's an interesting way to look at it. Thank you.

I'm struggling with this whole question of "worthiness." I'm not entirely sure if I know what it means. Our "worthiness" affects our own construction of self. I think I am not worthy is similar to I am not good enough in some ways, though that may not capture the whole picture.
Is one good enough or capable enough by virtue of being (or is more necessary to qualify)? How does that impact the capacity, or even capability, to do and be? Who or what makes one worthy? All good questions...
Two different definitions of worthiness:1. "good and deserving respect, praise, or attention"
: 2. "having enough good qualities to be considered important, useful, etc."
Seems like "goodness" is a part of both.
