Tear Down The Walls.

Tear Down The Walls.

A Poem by Diana

There are precious few we meet
who tear our walls asunder.
They dissolve as dust
at the heat of a glance.
Sweeping away the facade
of forlorn lovers...

Yet, it's no blunder.
And I wonder, I do.
You make me wonder...
though I said I was through.

You'd think I was anti-structure of any kind. I'm not, really. Too many walls, self-imposed and otherwise in our society.

Down with the walls! That's what I got from this piece. No? Well, whatever. This has to be good poetry, because every time they call something good poetry, I have very slight idea of what the piece is talking about. So, good job.

Absolutely, tear them down. I'm glad you thought it was good. Thank you, Michael, is it?

You are asking the wrong person. I am not a poet. I don't even know what I am doing here.
Depending on the pain left behind after someone has torn down the walls, your next structure could be so strong and impenetrable, that you could miss out on something so wonderful, so be sure to leave a window of opportunity x

Thank you so much.
Never say never. There is always one more person who is worth tearing down the walls. When the emotions are real, anything is possible. Good word choice and imagery here. Lydi**

Thank you, Lydi for your sweet comment.
Feelings from past relationships sometimes sneak in to present relationships reminding us of the mistakes we made so we won't repeat them...A wonderful poem...:).............

I agree ...You are welcome...:)..................
i am in a relationship like this now...maybe the walls are completely torn down, maybe not...there is a chance, but it has been too too long...and they are pretty solid.
