Where Did My Books Go? (Bibliophile Problems)

A Stage Play by Diana
"

I would call this drama (or screenplay) as far as genre goes, but those aren't options. It's really one scene.

"
Several weeks ago (while standing in the garage): "Hey, Dad, would you bring in that box of books for me?  They're my favorites.  I'd like them in the house.  Thanks, Dad."

Dad: "Yeah, Tati."

2 weeks later: "Hey, Dad, do you know where my box of books is?"

Dad: "In the house somewhere."

 Me: "Where?"

Dad: "I don't know."

Me (sounding perplexed after looking around): "Are they still in the garage?"

Me (walking around the house): "Oh, Dorian.  Dorian, where are you?"

(Box of favorite books unaccounted for.)

Morale to the story: Don't ever move.

Author's Note

Diana
Tati means dad in Romanian, but it can be "thrown back" onto children as a term of affection or endearment.

P.S., the captcha was sackage. Did my books get sacked?!

Smiling here....oh, yes, after moving it takes quite a while to figure out what is in every box, where your prized possessions are hiding, and where you will find room for all of it. Sweet conversation between father and daughter. The captcha certainly was appropos....everything is in a sack if not sacked! :) Lydi**
