Woe-be-gone

Woe-be-gone

A Poem by Diana

I wake up in the middle of the night.
Alone and I know it all too well.

The cold on my skin
raises in goosebumps
as I shiver.

Saying your name in the darkness
As though it will listen.
My plaintive friend...
woe-be-gone.

Typo. Sorry...You are welcome...:).........
What a wonderful collection of longing thoughts here Diana. I find when I visit your world, a few words carrying an enormous meaning on their backs. Very nice my friend.
