It's Safer as Your Fantasy

It's Safer as Your Fantasy

A Poem by Diana

It's safer as your Fantasy,
where I'm always Pretty
and of Good humour.

Never in Pain.
Always suffused with a warm Glow.

You don't see me Teary-eyed.
What am I?
Your pretty little Fantasy.

it may be safer, but it is better to have real life...real love...the fantasy bursts sooner or later...

and we need to love the good and the bad, the human person for whom we have these feelings.

can't kiss and hug and have a conversation with a fantasy...it's all in our own head...i want real.

No one can always be in good spirits....no one who is human anyway. Falling in love with a fantasy is not healthy. To truly love, one must accept the other person totally. Well written poem, Diana. Lydi**

Thank you.
Everything and everyone is better in a fantasy. That's why it's hard to let go of someone you never even had a chance with - because in your head it could have been perfect. And maybe that's why some people never take that extra step with someone they fantasize about - because they are afraid the person might not match up to the depiction in their head. You showed this very well, Diana! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, Michael. You raise some good points.
it was very well-decriped, love is a reality we have to know, not to get way from it. what is here she absolutely knows who is she, a great descovery or amore-propre, when she knows where is she in is heart, or how he observe her, so it is a greatd escovery. after this stage it is time for immediate action, either assert herself, or tell him that I lovved you but love is bashful to look up because you did love and used love to use me. thank you it was very good.

I'm basking in the warm glow of your sad mind but in your teary - eyed hopes...No fantasy when we are embraced in the truth and security of love...Awesome...:).........

Wow. You are welcome...:)...........
Reality is much more stark, and not as flavorful, if we can't be ourselves with the ones we love, better to live in that fantasy world, well pen'd Diana.
