Years Ablaze like Fiery Tumblewoods

The years pass like fire

set to tumbleweeds.

For I am young,

I am young,

for how much longer?

The fires of time blaze on.

The embers ignite in my eyes,

once again

ablaze with dreams.

Steadfast dreamer...

eyes of charcoal fire.

As the tumbleweeds burn...

the tumbleweeds burn on.

I like the analogy of tumbleweeds ( reminds me of Tx ) and the fire that burns them... The blow and the burn are powerful indeed...Bravo...........

My pleasure...Any time...:)...................
I like your analogy here. Time and life does seem to blow by like tumbleweeds in a hot wind, thus I like your descriptive of tumbleweeds burn on ....very appropriate and accurate analogy used. Good write.

and the tumbleweeds tumble away...we hope when we are young that the dreams won't ...

time passes quickly...so when you can, grab onto those dreams and don't let go.

really like this piece.
