Love Like This

I wanna forget all of the things we've done so we can do them all over again and make them feel new
I wanna turn back the hands of time to the very first day I saw you and change but one thing and that's to reach over the counter and kiss your lips to where you would never forget that moment
Want to get lost in the light that's hidden in your eyes so I can read your mind and see your soul just as you can see and read mine
And I want to hold you close to my body so close that I can feel your heart beating into my ear so I can listen to the most beautiful music that I will ever hear
I want to lay down with you on your bed like we did the other day just so we can get naked and lay side by side one another
Cuddled up and forget about the world as we lay skin to skin and become one with eachother
Because we don't have to make love to become lovers we love eachothers minds and souls and we're one  to the core and I couldn't live, I couldn't deal without my other half in my life
And I love you more than you will ever know more than my mind can even think and I just want you to be able to feel as happy as I do when you look at me
Because the look in your eyes is so amazing I can't even find the words to express what I feel inside and I'm trying but I feel like I'm just rambling...
Because no words sound good enough or right or strong enough to explain how much you mean to me
The world, the Heavens and the universe just aren't huge enough to hold my love for you so I switched hearts with you and so now you hold my love and I hold your love and no one but us can understand this love
No one else can feel what we feel and no one else can love like we love they can't steal or break or hurt or damage the emotions we've built from this love
And this love is so great that I thank God everynight for sending me my lovely, soulmate
Cause that's what you are to me you are my soulmate, you are my friend, you are my lover, and I love you...
So I want to hold you everyday and kiss you everynight I wanna watch you sleep as I wonder if you're dreaming of me and I want to awake with you laying right beside me with your arms wrapped around my body and my head on your chest
I want to get up and make breakfast for you and I as I think you are about to take a shower in our upstairs bathroom only to see you come downstairs and ask me to shower with you
I want this love to last a lifetime and I know it will which is why I want to become your wife now so I can see that lifetime become real
But I'm patient so I can wait but I just need you to know, need you to see, need you to feel and need you to hear...how much, I love you.

Okay, again, I don't do much with poems, so I can only hope this is somewhat helpful. This is full of emotion. The fact that its inspired by something else is simply amazing because its so expressive. It great how when you try to explain the love you ramble, which adds... depth? I think thats the word I'm looking for. Some of it seems to blunt or casual. Like the 'get naked' part. But that is more my personal dislike. More often then not I don't feel the casual approach is right, that and my casual isn't like that. So those little parts slowed me down, but didn't really take away from the overall poem. Wonderful job.
