Wonderful Dream

 

If I ask you to lay with me
On the ground, beneath the stars
Just you and I, would you do that for me?
Feel the perfection that be
Cause Heaven’s never too far
If we just reach inside...you and me...

 

The air smells so wonderful
While I lay beside you
The scent of the body
And warmth of the man
Which was made for me
Inside my heart you stay
While I sleep, pray and dream
Its beating from your love
And forever I will breathe
Every breath of life for you
Cause no one else can bring
Me a love like ours, so true

 

If I ask you to lay with me
As the sun sets and rises
To the sky that was made for us
Would you do that for me?
Take a second, let go of the world for love

 

Hold onto me, through the night
Take away the pain, the suffering
And all my lost fights
Help me sunshine
You’re the light to my life
Lay with me, here with me
So close that you can hear me breathe
Wrap your arms around my waist
Put your face up against mine
Lets go back to the wonderful place
Located inside our minds

 

You’re the dream I never had
Yet the reality that was given
A gift sent from God
To give me a piece of Heaven
You’re the Angel I thought of
Before I even knew you
And now you’re the love
I’ll always be into

 

So lay with me and forget the world
No one matters
Nothing will get in the way
Cause the only thing I need
Is your love today
Just lay with me all night
Lets sleep side by side
Forget all our troubles
And let go of our minds
Cause my hearts taking over
I want yours to do the same
Dont think before you speak
Just let it all out for me
No games will be played
No lies will be said
Just let out your love
As we lay head to head

Oh man. I am in love with your writing. Love it, love it, love it. This poem physically appears to be a large poem, but it does not read as such. I love all the emotions that you packed into it.. it's so heartfelt and meaningful. You are such a talented writer.. nice word choice, too. This poem has so many really inspiring, great lines in it.
