Stolen

Stolen

A Poem by Danielle Teresa
"

About a girl who left, then came back, then left again...

"

The taste of her lips on mine

Her hands all over my heart

Stolen from me my love

You were

At first a distraction

In time pictures revealed a whole new you

Without me

A year lost

lessons learned returned

Stars aligning to right the past wrongs

In my arms you fall again

My hands still open to hold

Eyes locked

So many words unsaid

3 words understood...standing the test of times past...

Our future remains to be written

I welcome you home...

This is moving. You have a very understandable voice and a wonderful way with words.
