In Mourning

In Mourning

A Poem by Danielle Teresa
"

dealing with lose

"

ever feel pain running through your veins

your heart skipping a beat that has been lost

breathing interrupted

chest ready to cave in

tears falling from the depths of your soul

unable to rest

to dream

to smile

I don't want to cry for you anymore

I don't want to be this open wound

its never better to have loved than lost

its more bearable to erase you all together...

and i wish i could...

I like how you played off of the quote about "better to have loved and lost..." and suggest that it's better to erase those memories completely. That's very beautiful, and I loved the way this was written, it definitely captured your sorrow. Good job. (:

I could really feel the pain in this poem.

"its never better to have loved than lost

its more bearable to erase you all together...

and i wish i could..."

I loved the ending....Its exactly how i would feel in this situation.
