Take a Bow

Take a Bow

A Poem by Danielle Teresa
"

a break up

"

take a bow

for a job well done

another love lost

another life broken

all in a night it crumbled from the clouds to the fire

another waste of energy out the door

so done with the tears

so done with the pain of knowing its me

leave me now to pick up the pieces that will never fit right again

take a bow

for a job well done

another lost love

another heart broken

thanks for trying

thanks for lying

thanks for nothing

i am so done...

You write with grim determination it apears. It carries the mood of the poem through the words very well!

Make me wish that life were like Lego's or a pen with an eraser. If it doesn't work, you can always take it apart and build something better. Or do a re-write. Wouldn't that be nice.

As i'm not sure if this was a poem writen for release of pent up emotions or not, Take the following with out prejudice.

Last line.... I would remove the "So" it takes away from the serious strong emotions that flow through the rest. I find that having it there turns it to have a funny humorious tone to it.

Over all it flowed well and was nicely done. :)
