After You

 

When I am disconnected, so far away from you.

I live a little reckless, and struggle from the truth.

But all my misconceptions about who you might be

Come crashing down around me when I am on my knees.

 

 

And I praise who you are.

I give thanks to you Lord .

And I love who you change me into.

Cause your grace is enough,

And though times may get rough,

I will faithfully seek after you.

 

 

When life’s so overwhelming, I cannot catch a break

I feel a little empty and forget what is at stake.

But calling on You Father, brings peace beyond belief.

New mercy can be found here, so I lay it at Your feet.
