Let it All Drop

Let it All Drop

A Poem by Colton Patterson

a senseless hope of creation
my dreams seem to glide with you
turning me askew
it dries me off
I wake up to the morning dew
the sweet scent of memories
carry thoughts away
as I muse
drowning in the deep end
the airs going through
tabs on your tongue
from side to side it blew
oxygen goes from lung to lung
sadness is hereditary, who knew.
