You Are BeautifulA Poem by dovetailer...there are no words, yet still I try...You Are Beautiful I love the way that autumn light gives all a golden hue. And how flocks of a thousand birds head south as if on cue. I love the sound of restless wind that rustles fallen leaves. without a doubt, your warming smile delights above all these. I love the way still waters steam when kissed by morning light... the silver cast the whole world has when bathed in full moonlight. I love to watch a star-filled sky... it calms me...lets me dream. Above all these, you scintillate... your eyes sparkle and gleam. I love the way that hay bales lay in fields that have been mown. I see in these big leafless trees... stark beauty all their own. I love puffy cotton clouds that lie in sky-blue sheets. Eclipsing these, true rapture
breathes where you and beauty meet. © 2010 dovetailer |
