Red, White and Blue

Red, White and Blue

A Poem by Doug

Red, White and Blue

America is true,

Such a great country,

With such great food.

So much spying and lying,

Why don’t we rebel?

Send me to Gitmo

Send me to jail.

You hate the gays

You hate the fat,

You hate the women,

You hate all other countries on the map.

The land of the free

And the home of the brave,

But you wish to outlaw abortion,

Force birth from a rape.

Red, White and Blue

America is true,

Such a great country,

But America, I don’t understand you.
