Where My Soul Can Rest

Where My Soul Can Rest

A Poem by Doroteja Tia Tolic

Oh how high is that mountain
Oh,how far is my home
Where did it all disappear
All the things I used to know

I found myself
Yet again wondering
Where does this book of mine belong
On which shelf

Who am I now?
To who does this face of mine belong?
Who is that shadowy figure that I see in the mirror
What will I endow?

It's been so long
Since I've had a place to call home
Where my soul can rest
Where do I belong?

You are a poet soul adrift on the winds of life.
If you truly desire a home, I hope you find a restful place to call your own.
Thank you for sharing these words I can feel, dear poet.
