Last Dawn

Last Dawn

A Poem by Doroteja Tia Tolic

She's strolling down the staircase
Repeating everyday the same
Sick of that place
Despising her family name

"Why do i have to be princess"
She asks herself everytime
Life so colorless
No prince on that balcony to climb

Like living in a nightmare
She isn't free
Noone else there to care
She doesn't have a key

Why does she cry?
So lonely in the night
Being on that place so high
Waiting for white knight

Time passes by
She can't move on
Hear her cry
Waiting for the last dawn
