it's a poem i wrote out of pure inspiration

I love you

And this is all I know

 

Given any time of day

I wish I were with you

Every time I see a couple

Just hanging out and having fun

I instantly imagine you and me

Out on a tree holding hands

Deepening our bonds

 

True and everlasting love

Only reminds me of your name

Your beautiful face

The love we share

And the joys the future may hold for us

 

We are everything they talk about

Everything everyone wishes they could be

But how do I know it’s for real?

I simply look into your eyes to see

 

Every gesture you make for me

May it be grand or small

I treasure in my heart

Locked away to the depths of myself

Never to be erased

 

Oh if I ever doubt you

It is only because

I never want this to end

 

I love you

You keep me grounded

You keep me sane
