this was my first poem ever.

You’re so surreal

You’re so unreal

You’re too good to be true

I can’t believe I’m standing right in front of you

 

Are you real or just a product of my endless fantasies?

It seems I’m stuck between two worlds

Which is a reality

Which is a fantasy

 

But, no, I know it’s real

This is all happening

I’ve humiliated myself way too much and willingly swallowed my pride

Maybe it’s time to accept we’re not meant to be

 

She can give you something I can’t

Maybe we’re better off this way

Maybe it’s best to stop thinking of you

You’re too good for me…
