"Life's not fair" said the bear.

"Life's not fair" said the bear.

A Poem by Shadin Manning

“Life’s not fair” said the bear,

He sat on his chair, he didn’t have a care.

“I don’t like my ears” said the deer,

She never liked what she would hear, it only brought her to tears.

"I've been robbed” said the dog,

Someone stole his heart, he curled up and sobbed.

“I feel like a rug” said the bug,

Everyone stepped on him, all he wanted was a hug.

“I am fat” said the cat,

He ate a Tic-Tac, but wished it was a Big Mac.

"I am the bomb" said the hog,

But in actuality, he knew he was just a slob.

"I am flying so high" said the butterfly,

She kept her hopes in the sky, everything was fine.

interesting poem. It shows different point of view; chosing positivity or negativity(: well written.

Really like this, clever and written with a great deal of humour, funny, and optimistic, the kind of poetry that is not easy to write.
