Magic Mirror

Magic Mirror

A Poem by Shadin Manning

I took a look inside the magic mirror

It was the strangest mirror I have ever seen

The floor was the ceiling and the ceiling was the floor

I saw a boy inside the mirror, he too was upside down

I asked him, “How do you live in such a bizarre world?”

He replied back, “The same way you do”

Very interesting play with perspective!
Short and to the point - and still says a lot.

I enjoyed this,it`s got echoes of Lewis Carroll or a good writer of fairytales, a mystic, enigmatic and clever poem from a good poet.Good work.
