Martin Luther King Died in Vain

Martin Luther King Died in Vain

A Poem by Shadin Manning

Martin Luther King died in vain
He died so that the whites and blacks can walk together
In brotherly love
And yet
People have issues with
Blacks having white friends
Whites having black friends
And interracial love
He did not die to leave America how it was
Segregated
We as a people are always saying racism should stop
But what are we doing to stop it?
