Ash, Rain and Sun

Ash, Rain and Sun

A Poem by Singular D

Tiny scraps of paper
hold the
dreams
and
spells
I cast.
I burn them
chanting
praying
ranting
til
they
dissolve
to
ash.
And with
that ash
I bathe
myself
until my
skin is
stone.
I rinse
myself
in
rays of
sun
til I'm
reduced
to
bone.
My
bones
I leave
behind
my Love
for you
to
find
your way.
Back
to the
dreams
and
spells
I
cast
upon you
on this
day.
