"96 Taurus

A Poem by Dom Nolan
"

Expecting change that never comes.

"
A car with heat at winters end
My frost bit finger tips graced with springs warm relief
There's no contempt or darkness underneath
At a moments notice we're swept away
But there's no twinkles in our eyes
As we were expecting this
A gentle hug with our shoulders caress each others hips
We're leaving all these ruins and finding shelter in caves
Quickly now the dawn is setting
Whispering words so unpleasant
It's hopeless now to keep on fighting all these things that are so demanding
Upsetting and distant but no use forgetting
Sailing off in the warm wind
Course is set to beyond the horizon
Tiny notes never replied
I'll write a novel to cast all suspicion
Hiding in caves
Tapping at every key
Words form but nothing with definition
Interpret the thought
And just forget
Another pointless meeting

I write to clear my head occasionally. I have horrible grammar, and my spelling is awful. I don't tend to go back and edit any of my writing once I'm out of the mind set I was in when I originally wro.. more..
