Nightmare

Just your normal night of getting a restless nightmare

Nightmare

 

When all is at rest

to be laid down to sleep

and we wish our best

for our memories to keep

get cradled into a dream

so sweet you taste honey

like the taste of cream

but the cream is runny

toss and turn to get out of your nightmare

wake in a cold sweat

stressed out and scared

your dreams are in debt

close your eyes and attempt it again

ignore the bad thoughts

let your tiresom and happiness blend

and hope it's a good dream this time that God brought
