My Happy Song

Just plain out happy

The Happy Song

 

When I feel greatness in the cracks of my face

I know that I am in my happy place

I never feel sad because I have a great day

So I put on a smile and flash it for display

I walk outside and give a good wave

For once in awhile today I'll behave

I greet all by passers

and ignore all the harassers

as I dance in the streets with joy in my mind

I put all troubles and worries behind

Working my legs to there best descent

I stretch with exitement and a laugh I present

For nothing in my world can form a frown

I sing my Happy song to all in town.

I write mainly dark and sad poems, so I attempted to write something sweet and happy, tell what you think and if I should stay with sad poems or start writing happy poems. Thanks for the interest

it was really good, i like how it all flowed together. it made me smile and then i laughed thinking of you skipping down a crowded street throwing flowers at people with a big smile on your face. jk, but i really did like it!
